Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic
The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague is a public university consisting of six faculties and one institute. It is the third largest university in Prague with 20,000 students. The university offers programmes on BSc, MSc and Ph.D. levels. The Faculty of Economics and Management is the biggest faculty dedicated to economy in the whole Czech Republic. The CULS is active in organizing international courses for students from the whole world.
Department of Languages at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague belongs to the Faculty of Economics and Management but it provides language and culture classes to all faculties. Besides main foreign languages as English, Spanish, German and Russian (taught on higher levels up to C1) it also offers courses of French, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic and Czech for foreigners (mostly on basic levels A1 and A2).

Alena Drebitková Malá
Researcher
is a lecturer of English, Russian, Spanish and Czech at the Department of Languages at the CULS. She is as well a professional guide in Prague. Apart from teaching foreign languages, she is interested especially in Prague history and architecture.
Michaela Peroutková
Researcher
is a senior lecturer of German, Czech for foreigners and Czech history, culture and intercultural communication. Her research interest lies primarily in 20th century German literature as well as German – Czech – Jewish cultural relations. She has published a monograph Literary and Oral Narration about the Expulsion. A German-Czech Comparison in German and Czech. Her latest monograph Jewish Identities in Czechoslovakia before and after WWII examines the perception of Jewish identity in Czechoslovakia and deals with collective memory about Jews in the Czech Republic.
